St Valentines Day in Russia
How do couples celebrate Valentines Day in Russia? Well, not too
differently from the West really. Flowers, chocolates and similar
romantic gifts are extremely popular.
This worldwide celebration of love is relatively new to Russia,
having only become a feature on the Russian calendar since the fall of
the Soviet Union. With International
Women's
Day on March 8th, and
Men's Day on Feb 23rd, this time of year is certainly filled with
celebrations for Russian couples!
