Russian Dating is Passionate

Russian Dating is passionate, or to put it another way... there is a very strong sense of "togetherness" when you are in a relationship with a Russian woman.

In my country, Australia, women and men are more independent than what I have experienced in Russian relationships. Of course everyone is different, but in general it is true that Russian couples behave as... couples. They do things together all the time. They go out together, they call each other many times each day, and they really display passionate attachment to each other.

When I first started dating a Russian girl many years ago, I learned this the hard way. We went out to meet some friends at a cocktail bar. After a short time, she wasn't feeling so well, so she decided to go home. I was disappointed, but I understood. Unfortunately, I didn't realise it at the time, but in her mind... this meant that "we" were going home! Russian couples do everything together, so this means that you arrive together, and leave together, no matter what the circumstances.

Yes, it doesn't mean that you can't do things on your own from time to time. Some time apart is healthy for a relationship. What it does mean is that Russian dating is very intense in comparison to many other cultures.

In my view, this is the most appealing aspect of being in a relationship with a Russian woman. I want to marry someone who loves me completely and wants to spend every minute with me. I don't want to live the life of a single man who just happens to have a partner. Not everyone would agree with me on that point I'm sure! But it certainly is a trait about Russian dating.
