Hurdle #6 when Dating Russian Women - Meeting in Person
Meeting
in person is an inevitable part of the process, and naturally you will
both want this to happen sooner rather than later. There are a couple
of key guidelines you must keep in mind at this point:
- 1. Be Patient
- It will take time to arrange for your meeting, and you should
definitely go to her country for this. Wait until it is an appropriate
time for you to go to visit her. Ideally 1-2 weeks is a good time to
spend getting to know each other.
- 2. Be OK with the possibility that it may not work out between
you.
- Until you meet someone in person it is almost impossible to be
certain that this person is right for you. You must remember that, and
you must be happy to go to visit her with the knowledge that maybe she
won't be the right one for you. Often people just aren't attracted or
don't click and it can be very upsetting if you're not prepared for the
result to go either way. Be happy that at the very least, you will be
having a holiday in a new place, meeting new people and having the
chance to learn Russian much better. But, in saying that, there is
always the chance that she WILL be the one for you, so be positive and
hopeful too.
- 3. Make a commitment... to YOU! - Remember
that you are looking for the right woman for you. Hopefully this
meeting will be the start of a wonderful relationship for you, but it's
ok if it isn't. Your experience will still be amazing. I highly
recommend that you enrol in a Russian course in her city, so that you
can learn Russian and meet other people while you are there. Chances
are that she will have to work or spend time with other commitments,
and it can be very lonely for a couple of weeks in a country if you are
just sitting around waiting for her to be free to see you. Make the
most of your time there, and make a commitment to enjoying yourself!
